Anyone ever wondered this? Been thinking about it with all the discussion about the clear recruiting gap between Ohio State and UM.

I'd say it helps us a lot that we get any Ohio kid we want whereas UM competes with MSU up there.

On the other hand, it seems like all of MSU's impact players in recent years have, amazingly, been from Ohio so maybe this is way off base.
