I’m not sure if anyone saw this, but the PSU team wore t-shirts in warmups on Saturday in response to an elderly fan who wrote a letter criticizing a player’s tattoos, dreadlocks and on field dancing, and demanding a return to an earlier era of team dress code.
My thoughts are
A-get off my lawn, blah, blah-but I will give the fan credit for being straight up and public q/ his POV. He is a retired speech pathologist and world traveler, not a crank living in a shack. He is wrong, but not acting out of a larger agenda.
B-If people bash players, it will get heard. The The players and staff aren’t just there for your edification as a fan. If you say something over the top dumb-it will come back around.
