Ohio State's current hoopers are getting pointers from legends of the past.

On Monday, Jake Diebler welcomed a plethora of Buckeye veterans into the practice gym at the Schottenstein Center to work out with and coach his team.

The most notable attendees were former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick and one-year Ohio State superstar Greg Oden, 10-year NBA veteran D'Angelo Russell and recent star forward E.J. Liddell, currently of the Chicago Bulls. Joining them were such names as William Buford, Brice Sensibaugh, Malaki Branham, Kosta Koufos, Trevor Thompson and Seth Towns.

Monday also served as the media's first look at five new additions for the Buckeyes this year: Transfers Gabe Cupps, Christoph Tilly and Brandon Noel with freshmen A'mare Bynum and Myles Herro. Freshman guard Mathieu Grujicic of Germany was in attendance but was not allowed to participate due to restrictions around his international visa.

Baylor transfer Josh Ojianwuna and sophomore Colin White are both out with injury, though White is expected to be back by the end of summer after a minor ankle surgery.

We collected highlights of the vets working out alongside the active Buckeyes, which you can watch at the top of the page. Audio is muted due to the copyrighted music that was playing in the gym.
