Boise State football, you have new company in the arena of playing surfaces modeled after team colors.
Ohio State basketball unveiled its new court for Value City Arena on Friday, and for the first time in school history, the Buckeyes will play on a scarlet-and-gray floor.

Gray will serve as the base color for the new Schottenstein Center court, with scarlet filling out the paint under both hoops, the sidelines and the baselines. White Big Ten logos add color under both free-throw lines, with an all-caps Ohio State in white lettering added beneath the center of the baseline on both ends of the court.
One of the biggest features of the new court is a first-of-its-kind interchangeable midcourt logo. The first option is a Block "O" resembling the football team's midfield decal while the second is a script "Buckeyes." This is as much of a change as the color of the court itself, as for the past 13 seasons, there has been a traditional Ohio State logo imposed on a silhouette of the state of Ohio at midcourt.

The Scarlet and Gray will play their first game on the color-matching court when their season tips off in November.
