Despite it's rich history as a college football blue blood, Ohio State hasn't exactly been QBU, at least not in the way you could argue position group excellence at running back, wide receiver and defensive back, to name a few.
That said, since Ryan Day arrived as quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator in 2017, before taking over head coaching duties a few years later, Ohio State quarterbacks have pretty consistently blown up under Day's tutelage.
Ohio State ranked inside the top-10 nationally for total offense in six of eight years with Day on the sideline in some capacity and three of his quarterbacks combined to pick up four top-7 finishes in Heisman Trophy voting: Dwayne Haskins finished third in 2018, Justin Fields posted third place and seventh place finishes in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and C.J. Stroud logged fourth and third place finishes in 2021 and 2022.
And that Will Howard dude had a pretty elite final stretch in leading Ohio State to the 2024 national title.
So this week's question is, which former Ohio State signal caller would've thrived the most if he was developed by Ryan Day and played in Day's offense/program?
