Georgia, and one time Ohio State commit, quarterback D'Wan Mathis had emergency surgery to remove a cyst from his brain on Thursday and is expected to make a full recovery. Mathis, a freshman from Oak Park, Michigan, had the surgery at Piedmont Hospital in Athens, Georgia, where he was being kept in ICU as a precaution. It wasn't immediately clear when Mathis will be able to return to workouts or what his status will be for the upcoming season.
