Saw this on the news this morning, SMDH.
This latest cheating scandal is nationwide, even involving prestigious universities like Yale and Stanford. I'm still a little confused about the nexus of the SAT's and non-athletes, but evidently some schools' coaches were complicit. From the article:
The children’s parents would pay a specified amount of money fully aware it would be used to gain college admission. The money would then go toward an SAT or ACT administrator or a college athletic coach who would fake a profile for the prospective student — regardless of their athletic ability, according to the charging documents.
So this is the latest sign the Apocalypse is upon us?
