We've tried this a couple of times over the years, and I thought it might be more interesting than discussing cysts, fire, Winovich's hair care products and Saturday's weather forecast (It's Ohio, for Pete's sake. That forecast is going to change a dozen times in the next four days.)
The table below presents the nine teams in College Football (one loss or fewer) with their W-L records (total & vs. P5), average scoring margin, opponents' W-L records, P5 opponents' W-L records, and some other quality measures we've hear the Committee use in years past.
Using that information, without looking up the teams or trying to guess which is which, rank them from 1-9. Some are obvious, I know, but others I think you'll find surprising. I'll post the answer key, as well as your combined rankings, after the CFP Committee rankings come out.
RULES
- Be as objective as possible. Don't try to discern who is who and then rank them based on your biases.
- DO NOT be that guy/gal who just lists who they think the teams are. Commentariat, please DV those posts into oblivion. If that doesn't fix it, I have CalPoppy's axe.
- Feel free to give commentary after you list your rankings.
