Scary Terry just got a big payday.
The former Ohio State wideout ended his holdout by agreeing to a lucrative three-year extension with the Washington Commanders on Monday worth more than $96 million, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. With his new deal in place, McLaurin will suit up for Washington for its week one matchup against the New York Giants on Sep. 7.

McLaurin has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL for the past half-decade, recording five straight seasons of at least 1,000 yards receiving. His 2024 campaign was the best of his career, which isn't all that surprising considering it was the first time McLaurin had stable quarterback play. He caught 82 passes for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns.
He'll be a core building block for Washington's offense as the Commanders build their offense around Jayden Daniels' skillset.
In six NFL seasons, McLaurin has started 97 games and recorded 460 catches, 6,379 yards and 38 touchdowns.
