News out of Kansas State today has DC Tom Hayes retiring. While I think Brent Venables returning as the HC-in-waiting and DC would be a coup for KState (as would the same deal for Jim Leavitt), Bill Snyder will never let it happen. 

I think Bert, a Snyder pupil, is actually a solid choice. 

Could Bert be my new neighbor?
