Last Night's Game Had a Higher Rating in Columbus Than Last Year's Game

This year's CFP NCG up overall from last year (16.7 rating vs. 15.3 rating a year ago).

But for all the talk of an OSU fan boycott, the game scored a 23.2 rating in Columbus vs. a 22.5 rating a year ago.

I will note that the rating was still down quite a bit from the still-record OSU vs. Oregon title game in 2014 (18.8 rating)
