Tennessee football has been a bastian of wasted player talent and dumb coaching moves. In 2012, Jim Tressel was regarded as a dark horse candidate and may have been a selection had he not had a 5 year show cause infraction. Since the 2010 season Tressel has went on to the presidency of Youngstown State and at the age of 64 seems to be quite content to retire from there as president. It has been 6 years now and there is a strong selection committee who may be able to put together a common sense approach for Tressel to be the next coach at Tennessee. Without a doubt, Tressel has shown the ability to turn programs into big winners. He is a stabling force and now has enough experience in colligant administrative matters that may help any major college program dismiss the show cause as an aberration of the man. The questions would be does he want to coach again? I for one would think that if any job were to look good to the Senator, this would be the one. What do you think?
