A Commonwealth Court this morning restored Jerry Sandusky's pension payments and ordered back payments, interest, etc. be paid to Sandusky when they ruled that his pension was incorrectly stopped when he was convicted of child molestation. The court ruled that he was NOT an employee of Penn State at the time the molestations took place and the State Employees Retirement Board incorrectly ruled to remove his pension.
This is an interesting ruling in that it restores the rule of law in this case, which the court felt had been tossed aside to appease the overwhelming angry mob(I'm paraphrasing, you can read the quote in the article)
