Didn't see the game last night, but VT came back late from 14 points down (aided by two Yellow Jacket fumbles) to upend GT 23-21, keeping alive the Hokies' quest for a 23rd straight bowl appearance under Beamer.

This looked to be a marquee ACC matchup at the start of the season, but wasn't to be. Virginia Tech reaches .500 (5-5, 3-3) for the season, needing one win to reach bowl eligibility. The Hokies host UNC next Saturday, and visit UVA the following week to close the regular season.

Georgia Tech drops to a disappointing 3-7 (1-6) on the year.

Hope to see Beamer go out a winner.
