If you are betting, who are you putting your money on? Here are the current odds.
Yesterday on FanDuel, Will Howard dropped down to +40,000 for Heisman. For those that aren't familiar, that means if you bet $100, you will win $40k. In essence it is 400 to 1 odds. Today, the odds dropped to +30,000. My daughter and I got in on the +30k, figured it was too good to pass up. I just wish we got in yesterday. We bet $305 all together, that is offically a $91,805 payout. Now we just need to see Howard shine in his 3 biggest games.
I figure if he continues to be one of the top QB's statisically, and beats Dillon (+3500) who is 7th in Heisman odds, and Rourke (+3000) who is 4th, on the way to 3 consecutive wins over #5 Indiana, Michigan (always a huge game), and #1 Oregon, then Howard has a good a chance as anybody - Especially since statistically he is one of the top QB's in the nation. A few other things need to go right (no need to get into those, there are a lot of variables), but Howard with those odds, and low bet, seems like a pretty worthwhile bet.
