A little free time on my Monday lunch hour and had a good laugh with some friends over the weekend regarding "captain obvious" sayings, quotes, quips, euphemisms. Turned in to a bit of a drinking game as we piled 42 points on the redhawks in 2nd quarter. Some favorites from the weekend, and feel free to have some fun on a Monday and add your own gems.

It all started with this:

• "How in the hell is it 5-0?" - said a buddy who showed up late to the viewing party.
  • "Well. There was a safety. And then there was a field goal. Anyone have a calculator?" - said a buddy without missing a beat.

So then we went off the reservation with it:

• "Dobbins can run the ball pretty well when we give him the ball."
• "Chase Young is good at Football, I wish we had more Chase Young's."
• "It's tough to win a Heisman when you're the best long snapper in the nation."
• "If you got the first 85 picks at recess, picks 10-85 would be way harder than you might think."
