We have a thread about gifts received...what about those gifts given that have special significance or meaning? I presented to both my son and son-in-law two Fillmore/Avalon Ballroom, Family Dog/Bill Graham Presents, psychedelic art first printing concert posters from 1967. Bands listed included The Grateful Dead, Big Brother & the Holding Co., Allmen Joy (early Allman Bros.) Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grass Roots, among others. They are both big time into 60's-70's music, as am I, and they were shocked and
ecstatic to receive them! I have had these four posters squirreled away for over 40 years and knew they would cherish and display them so I mounted and framed them and gave 'em up. No regrets, nothing but joy in seeing their faces!
