Former NASA engineer Mark Rober had an Apple package stolen off his front porch. After the police told him it wasn't really worth their time to look into it (after he showed them video of the thief in action), he decided to go full nerd vigilante and create something awesome to serve justice to would-be package thieves. His expertise and tinkering acumen, which was used to help design parts of the Mars rover, created a fake package that, when opened, throws glitter everywhere and sprays blasts of fart spray. It also records the entire thing for his viewing pleasure.
