Thankfully, Florence is has weakened from the 140 mph monster she once was, but still will likely lead to some of the worst flooding and storm surge, if not the worst, in NC history. Some areas projected to get up to 40 inches of rain and a 10-12 foot storm surge. Even in Charlotte, 200 miles from the coast, we could end up with close to foot of rain.
