I've seen both Elliott and Elliot used so many times. I always assumed all the Elliot uses were just incorrect, but even articles on EW are full of them. Obviously Elliott is what appears on his jersey, but in the traffic ticket article his traffic case summary uses Elliot. One would think that would come directly from his license. This new EW article on his blocking uses Elliot way more than Elliott. What gives? How is use of a last name so flexible?
