Florida running back Elijah Newman-Hall commits to Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes their first 2028 commitment.
Urban Meyer, Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Spielman and other stars were on hand for the Columbus Sports Commission's annual brunch today and while most of the discussion centered around humorous anecdotes, a small bit of hard news did emerge.
Ohio State backup quarterback Kenny Guiton suffered a hand injury this summer, though Meyer does not seem to be concerned with it.
The only mishap this summer, according to Urban, is a hand injury to Kenny Guiton. Meyer said he though it was minor in nature.

Guiton, who celebrated a birthday yesterday, is integral to Ohio State's run this season. If Miller takes a hit – and you know he will – the staff has who they believe to be the nation's best bullpen quarterback in Guiton. He'll be called upon at some point.
