Louisville came up big this evening in a battle of unbeaten Big East teams, dropping West Virginia 44-34. I always thought that WVU's Achilles was falling behind and having to rely on an unproven passing game to get back into a game and that proved true. Louisville has another tough test and is let-down primed when they visit Rutgers next Thursday night. If the Cardinals lose there and WVU beats Rutgers on December 2nd...

I was listening to Tress (radio show) tonight and he dropped a little nugget about the Woody days. He said Woody wouldn't let his coaches wear gloves in the cold weather and even had their pockets sewn shut. Said he didn't want the other team ever thinking his players and coaches weren't tougher.
