2013 Nashville (TN) Ensworth ATH Corn Elder tells me he has set an official to Ohio State for the weekend of January 11th. He talked to Coach Hinton yesterday.
Elder won the state of Tennessee's Mr. Football award this year (D2) and is also considering basketball in college. His team plays for the football state title tomorrow.
Would love to have him.

He's not as dynamic, but his running style reminds me a lot of Reggie Bush's. Very natural runner, has the ability to turn on 4.4 track speed with the flip of a switch. A-level speed + acceleration. Never gets run down from behind, if he sees an opening he's gone.
It'll be nice if some of these guys start committing. Now the football is over we'd have something to get excited about.
His visit could have been set in Jan so the staff could see what some of the other guys are doing
Elder plays in state championship I believe thrusday. If you can get a Tennessee public channel tv you can see Elder and Hurd.

Hurd plays Friday he can has a chance at the all time rushing record in season. He would have broken already if had not separated his shoulder and miss 1 game and other ge played slot wr and wr.

Interesting and maybe pure coincidence, but both Elder and Timmons, 2 guys who may be considered "Plan B's" aren't taking their officials to OSU till January.

Curious if he would stay at RB if he came to OSU, there's what, 6 backs on the roster next year? Could definitely use him in the slot, or maybe in the way ND uses Riddick down the line.

@ROYBALL,that was my thinking.He wouldn't be a RB or WR,more a hybrid/slot type of guy with big play ability in space.That's why I say take both if OSU can.Can use any playmaker we can get our hands on,not to mention would probably be awesome on punt/kick-off returns.

Before I stated he couldnt play BB at OSU but after watching last nights game vs Duke I might change my mind because his 3 pt shot is better than anyone else we have. Craft has to know by now to quit shooting the 3 and go back to being the pg. wow his shot was ugly last night
He's 5-10... He will struggle to shoot over taller opponents... The analysts are correct when they say he is a mid-major basketball talent.
There a good article and interview about Corn Elder on the Tennessean in sports section. His basketball team doesn't need hime there a player on his team averaging 43 points per game.

While flipping between the Kentucky/Notre Dame and Florida/Marquette basketball games, I caught some of Elder's State Title game last night. It was broadcast locally here in Tennessee. It was the first time I'd seen him play and he played well. He carried the ball quite a bit and got big chunks of yardage with pretty much each carry. The kid looks so small. He's what 5'10, 170?
TENN (or OSUFORLIFE if he sees this), did he look as fast to you in live action/regularly play as he does on his highlight film I posted up there? The highlight film makes him look like one of the fastest players we're recruiting (the fastest probably being Taivon Jacobs). I mentioned it before, but in the film he looks to have Reggie Bush speed + acceleration (just not necessarily all of the other intangibles yet).
If goes to Vandy he could start on basketball today. Vandy basketball team is awful so far this season. He is very small he can return punts,kickoffs, play corner and catch passes out of the backfield.
I heard was listing to the Ten. Vols radio some ex assiant coach there. He said Elder is an ohio State lean. He also mention some of players going out of state could decomit.
