Professor William Clark, one of 11 victims wounded in the Monday terror attack allegedly committed by 18-year-old student Abdul Razak Ali Artan, is your new favorite Ohio State faculty member, and it's not particularly close.

The Materials Science Engineering emeritus faculty member has an office in Watts Hall, the flash point in the attack.

Treated by the Wexner Medical Center, Clark issued probably the most baller proclamation a man can make in the wake of a terror attack.

"We're a great university," Clark said in a Wexner Center press conference, via WHIOTV. "We still beat Michigan."

The professor added some students were "extremely distraught," and that he would not pass judgment on Ali Artan until he knew the exact circumstances."

"He's dead," Clark said. "I'm going home."
