The College Football Playoff has changed the sport in ways I'm not sure that we fully appreciate quite yet.

For instance, I'm still a little hung up on a week to week angry rant about polling and why it sucks and is bad in theory and in practice, but in truth it's really not something that's all that big deal at all, as long as Ohio State keeps winning.

A few things about that, which Andy and I discuss on the Dubcast this week. First, Bye weeks are fun because when upsets happen, you feel like a guy who just avoided getting de-pantsed in the locker room. Second, in retrospect, it'd be nice if Big Ten teams stopped looking all threatening and good because the Buckeyes are in the top four! Just win out and they're in the playoffs, so if everyone else could just chill that'd be great.

Also we get into Ask Us Anything (which you can do via e-mail or Twitter), and if you enjoyed our various witticisms and bon mots, don't forget to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else you get your smooth podcast jazz.

0:00 Ohio State won Bye week by virtue of not losing (as Georgia did) and not having anything particularly stupid happen to the team!

19:08 The Big Ten is cool and good, but is that actually cool and good?

41:07 Ask Us Anything has no love for Lydell Ross. Shame, that.

And that'll do it for this week, big thanks to Travis for the cool logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next time!
