Stephen A. Smith, when talking about something he's actually semi-informed on and not, say, whether or not Dwayne Haskins is a more of a runner than a thrower, can sometimes create pretty good television or radio. He's not good at either of those things, exactly, but he's not paid to be "good," he's paid to be entertaining.

And die-hard Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith losing it after a caller trolls him about the New York Knickerbockers losing out on the Kevin Durant free agency sweepstakes is very entertaining. It's also relatable if you're a Blue Jackets fan, who have been dealing with their own angst about free agency.

So that's the main topic that Beau and I talk about today, because Ohio State football isn't subject to those winds of change. Ohio State football, unique to other sports in Ohio, is a destination to be envied within its sport. But! The question is: Does Ryan Day feel the same way that hundreds of recruits and a half-dozen coaches that have come before him feel?

Plus, as always, Ask Us Anything, which you can do via Twitter or e-mail, and please don't forget to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes, Google Podcasts, or Spotify!

0:00 Would Ryan Day stay? Neither Beau and I are quite so sure.

18:01 DAR isn't getting the respect he deserves, and best/worst case scenarios for Ohio State in the fall.

30:32 Ask Us Anything is going to make some Lakers fans very happy.

And that does it for this week, thanks as always to Travis for the logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next time!
