The Cleveland Browns are coming off a perfect 3-0 preseason after a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. The Browns open the season at home vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. Of the first 6 games on the schedule, only the Bengals didn't make the playoffs last season. Joe Flacco will be the starting QB for the Browns, who look to be keeping 4 QB's on the roster, with DeShaun Watson still on the mend.
Several rookies will have an immediate impact, namely RB Dylan Sampson, DT Mason Graham, WR Isaiah Bond, and LB Carson Schwesinger. Rookie QB's Dillon Gabriel and Shadeur Sanders will make the final roster, but Flacco is entrenched as QB #1.
The Browns are coming off a dismal 3-14 season with a last place finish in the AFC North. A slow start in the W column could spell yet another losing season. Cleveland does own 2 first round picks in the 2026 draft, one from the Jacksonville Jaguars stemming from the Travis Hunter trade.
Let's all hope that our Browns will defy the experts and be one of the big surprises of the 2025 season. 2 years ago, not too many thought that Cleveland could finish 11-6 with a postseason berth.
