Urban Meyer isn't about to lose his job, or quit, or spontaneously combust into a giant ball of hot tar, but a loss as bad as what happened in the Fiesta Bowl tends to make one think long and hard about the direction that the Ohio State football program has been moving in.

And, given the events of Tuesday, that's what Beau and I focus on the most. Coaching changes are always fascinating in their own way, but when they're as large-scale and yeah, as reactionary as what we've just seen, it's probably worth it to stand up and take notice.

Because here's the other thing about Urban Meyer: he's entering uncharted waters in his career as a head coach. As Beau mentions, this is about the point at Florida when things went off the rails for him. Can he avoid a similar fate at Ohio State? Well... yeah, probably. But his newest hires might be the most important he's made since coming to Columbus.

Ask Us Anything is on a short break, because we need more questions! Fat questions, skinny questions, questions about old rocks. Tough questions, easy questions, even questions about chicken pox. E-mail or Twitter! Hit us up!

0:00- Ch-ch-ch-changes are necessary pretty much at all times in college football, but now that's especially true at Ohio State.

8:18- Ohio State got popped in the mouth against Clemson. It was... bad.

21:00- So what's in store for 2017? Can Ohio State and Urban Meyer rebound? Or will they crash and burn?

33:52- The NFL beckons, but that's going to be a constant.

And that is the Dubcast for this week! Next time we'll look at basketball? Yeah, screw it. Basketball. Thanks as always to Travis for the Dubcast logo, and thanks to you for listening!
