I wrote about this on Sunday, but the sweaty, nervous, panicky Luke Fickell of 2011 is no more. The five year Urban Meyer boot camp that he just experiences has shaped him into a confident, outspoken, sweaty defensive coach who has evolved into a very attractive choice to lead the football team of a C-tier Ohio school.

But will it work out? That's the question that Beau and I struggle with this week, along with other issues of the heart. Wide receivers bolting for Mississippi, college coaches being enticed by the NFL... honestly in a sport dominated by type A personalities, it's maybe a little surprising that this kind of thing doesn't happen more often.

Is Urban next? Well... no. Probably not. That'd be pretty dumb. But someday maybe, and that's something that we're all going to have to try and wrap our heads around.

Also, Ask Us Anything! Featuring Kevin Wilson and some barking dogs singing Christmas songs!

0:00- Luke Fickell is An Important Guy to Ohio State, so it's probably appropriate that we look back at his career a bit.

15:55- Oh God, all things are finite and Urban Meyer won't be the coach of Ohio State forever! STOP THE WORLD I WANT TO GET OFF!

36:10- I don't know the what the deal is with Gibson, but it's definitely weird.

44:40- Ask Us Anything! Bark bark bark, bark bark bark, bark bark bark bark bark!

And that is the Dubcast for this week, thanks as always to 11W user Travis for our logo, and thank you for listening! We'll see you next week as we hand out the Dubbies, an end of seasons award show that I just made up. See you then!
