Welcome to the Skull Session.

ICYMI: Ohio State added matchups with Navy and Youngstown State to its 2029 schedule and moved a matchup with Nevada to its 2030 schedule.

Have a good Monday.

THE WORLD FAMOUS BUCKEYES. Ohio State is the No. 3 team in college football, according to consensus top 25 polls from ESPN, The Athletic, CBS Sports, USA TODAY, On3Sports Illustrated, Sporting News and 247Sports. The Buckeyes check in behind Texas and Penn State and ahead of Clemson, Notre Dame, Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, LSU and... oooooo, I see you, Bert... Illinois in the top 10.

ILLINOIS 11 16 12 13 9 9 10 14 94

I want to avoid it — I really do — but there's an almost 100 percent chance Ohio State's three potential top-10 matchups with Texas, Penn State and Illinois will all be Big Noon Kickoffs.

Oh, FOX. You disappoint me.

BODY BY MICK. Cleveland.com's Stefan Krajisnik said it best: I will continue buying Arvell Reese stock.

That man is massive.

Last season, Reese emerged as Ohio State's No. 3 linebacker behind Block O recipient Cody Simon and (future Block O recipient?) Sonny Styles. In 16 appearances for the Buckeyes, he collected 43 tackles, four tackles for loss and a half-sack. James Laurinaitis expects that production to continue this fall.

"He plays so hard," Lauraitis said before Ohio State won the national championship in January. "The ceiling for Arvell — I can't put into words because he can do much. He's got great size..."

That's for sure.

"... and a burst to him. He'll just continue to grow. I don't think we've seen his best football yet."

Two months later, Laurinaitis raved over Reese all the more.

"Arvell is so talented. Like, so talented," he said. "I'm grateful here at Ohio State to have a guy that looks like Sonny (Styles) and Arvell. Arvell's length and his ability to move around and position flex make him all the more valuable. I think what we're doing is realizing everything Arvell Reese can do. And it's a lot. That's a special talent."

Yeah, I think I will continue buying Arvell Reese stock.

OHIO STATE'S JUNE OLYMPICS. Last summer, Ohio State football held the June Olympics, which pitted players against coaches in games such as billiards, table tennis, a 3-point contest and more. The players took a 5-1 lead in the Olympics before the staff stormed back to win 6-5, clinching their monumental win with a half-court shot on the Woody Hayes Athletic Center indoor practice field.

The June Olympics returned Tuesday with Joe McGuire beating Tim Walton in billiards. The coaches bounced back, however, with a duo of Brian Hartline and Zach Higgins beating Payton Pierce and Garrett Stover in cornhole.

When all is said and done, I think the coaches will go back-to-back. Sorry, players. That's just what I think!
