This may shock you, but Urban Meyer doesn't think he has enough speed on his football team. And it seems noted free agent Johnnie Dixon has the answer to all his problems.

To be honest, I haven't seen nearly enough former players openly lobbying to join the Jags. Shoutout to Johnnie D for doing it shamelessly, as he should.

Word of the Day: Delineate.

IT'S IN THE GAME. Trey Sermon is just a few days away from being a fairly wealthy individual, regardless of where he's selected in the draft. But it's the simple things that have him stoked about becoming an NFL player.

Like the fact that he won't have to create himself into this year's version of Madden.

The only fun thing I did there was the scans for Madden (video game). It’s to have us in Madden, so we won't have to create ourselves. We step into this room, and it's just a bunch of cameras everywhere surrounding you, and you're just standing there. It scans your body. I'm definitely looking forward to it. I've been creating myself in the game for so long. Now I don't have to do it.

I, too, would like to be scanned into a video game, but as far as I know, they don't make a sports blogging game and I'm not sure the sliders could go down far enough to accurately portray me in Madden, but I'm sure someone could take a stab at it.

Also, to be fair, Trey should have been able to play with himself in a college football video game for the past four years. And I've got a feeling I might be even saltier about that than even he is.

TATE FOR ROTY? At this time last year, Jae'Sean Tate's dream was to simply make an NBA roster. Now, more than 80 percent through the season, he's legitimately one of the top rookies in the league and is low-key even a Rookie of the Year contender.

Is he going to win it? Probably not, especially with LaMelo Ball coming back. But the fact that it's the end of April and he's currently in that No. 2 slot is absolutely incredible. A few months ago I was stoked that the guy was going to make the team.

DISHING DIMES. Tate ain't the only former Ohio State player balling in the NBA these days. Mike Conley's out there playing like the All-Star he is.

He's had to pick up the slack with Donovan Mitchell sidelined for a bit, and my guy hasn't missed a beat.

As an aside, you can now start to make one hell of a team out of former Ohio State players that are currently in the NBA. You've got Conley, Tate, D'Angelo Russell, and Keita Bates-Diop. Somewhat fittingly, all you're missing is a center.

LOSING A GOOD ONE. There's no transfer portal for college football's creatives, but nonetheless, Ohio State's losing a good one with art director Chris Charizopoulos taking his talents to the NBA.

Chris is absolutely fantastic at his job – hence, why he got poached by the NBA – and he will absolutely be missed.

That said, I don't think there's a shortage of creatives looking to take Ohio State's art to the next level any more than there are quarterbacks looking to replace Justin Fields. Let's just see about that next man up.
