Welcome to Buckeye Pro Day Central.

Ohio State’s 2026 Pro Day was held Wednesday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, where 17 members of the 2025 Ohio State football team had the opportunity to work out for and meet with NFL scouts, coaches and front office personnel. All 32 teams had at least one representative in attendance, with six total head coaches and six general managers watching the workouts.

From 40-yard dash times to position work, the day is offering a comprehensive look at one of the nation’s deepest talent pools. For some, it’s a chance to confirm what evaluators already believe. For others, it’s an opportunity to change the conversation entirely.

Below, we’ve compiled updates from the day including workout videos, interviews and sights and sounds from the day.

The 17 members of the 2025 Ohio State team who participated in Wednesday’s pro day included:

  • RB CJ Donaldson
  • WR Carnell Tate
  • TE Will Kacmarek
  • TE Max Klare
  • OL Ethan Onianwa
  • DE Caden Curry
  • DT Kayden McDonald
  • DT Tywone Malone Jr.
  • LB Arvell Reese
  • LB Sonny Styles
  • LB Joey Velazquez
  • CB Davison Igbinosun
  • CB Lorenzo Styles Jr.
  • S Caleb Downs
  • K Jayden Fielding
  • LS John Ferlmann
  • LS Collin Johnson

Former Youngstown State wide receiver Max Tomczak – the nephew of former Ohio State quarterback Mike Tomczak – also participated in the pro day throwing workout alongside current Ohio State quarterbacks Julian Sayin and Tavien St. Clair and current Buckeye wide receivers Brandon Inniss, David Adolph and Nolan Baudo.

Ohio State did not provide official workout results or measurables from pro day. For the Buckeyes who participated in the 40-yard dash and 20-yard shuttle, we recorded the following very unofficial times on our stopwatches:

40-Yard Dash

  • RB CJ Donaldson: 4.72
  • LB Joey Velazquez: 4.98
  • DT Tywone Malone Jr.: 5.07
  • OL Ethan Onianwa: 5.11

20-Yard Shuttle

  • CB Davison Igbinosun: 4.36
  • RB CJ Donaldson: 4.36
  • DE Caden Curry: 4.54
  • TE Will Kacmarek: 4.72
  • LB Joey Velazquez: 4.72
  • OL Ethan Onianwa: 4.79
  • DT Tywone Malone Jr.: 5.11

Every Ohio State draft prospect went through position drills with the exceptions of Sonny Styles and Lorenzo Styles Jr. Sonny Styles chose to stand on his results from his spectacular NFL Scouting Combine performance, while Lorenzo Styles Jr. – who ran a 4.27-second 40-yard dash at the combine – was unable to work out after undergoing shoulder surgery in early March.

After working out as a linebacker at the NFL Combine, Arvell Reese went through defensive line drills at pro day, looking to showcase his ability to be an edge rusher after playing off-ball linebacker at Ohio State.

One of the most notable performances of the day came from Jayden Fielding, who made a 57-yard field goal in his kicking workouts despite never making a kick longer than 49 yards in his Ohio State career.
