A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Dixon began his Ohio State career as a backup to TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins and James Peoples. Despite Henderson and Judkins both declaring for the NFL draft after the Buckeyes' national championship run, Dixon fell down the depth chart to RB5 in 2025 after freshman Bo Jackson emerged as Ohio State's starter, and West Virginia transfer CJ Donaldson, freshman Isaiah West and Peoples rounded out the top four.
Dixon appeared in five games during his Buckeye career, rushing 10 times for 62 yards and one touchdown.
Dixon is the eighth Buckeye to find a new school since entering the transfer portal, joining quarterback Lincoln Kienholz (Louisville), running back James Peoples (Penn State), wide receiver Bryson Rodgers (USF), offensive lineman Isaiah Kema (Utah), defensive end C.J. Hicks (USF), cornerback Bryce West (Wisconsin) and punter Nick McLarty (Arizona State).
