Ryan Day's Ohio State Buckeyes once again hold the top spot in both the AP and Coaches Polls after handing Rutgers a 42-9 defeat yesterday afternoon in Ohio Stadium.
The bulk of the polls look very similar to last week as there were no real upsets of consequence except for Georgia Tech getting ran at Pitt. Otherwise, the SEC did that thing where it plays FCS schools in late-November, Oregon held off USC to remain solidly in the CFP field while essentially eliminating the Trojans, Oklahoma defeated Missouri and Notre Dame blasted Syracuse, 70-7.
As for Ohio State's opponent this Saturday, Michigan climbed two spots in the Coaches and three in the AP to slot at No. 15 in both polls.
Utah survived a scare against Kansas State, winning 51-47, while the lone upset of note saw Georgia Tech fall at Pitt by a 42-28 margin in ACC action and fall seven spots to No. 19 in the Coaches Poll.
