The Buckeyes are still the No. 1 team in the country in both polls ahead of the first installment of the CFP rankings this week.

Ohio State remained atop both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll following its dominant win over Penn State.

In the AP Poll, the top seven teams remain unchanged, while the Buckeyes received 54 first-place votes, the same number they had last week. Teams ranked between No. 8 and No. 14 all moved up at least two spots in the rankings this week.

The Big Ten is represented by five teams in the AP Top 25: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, No. 6 Oregon, No. 20 USC and No. 21 Michigan. Iowa received the most votes outside of the top 25, as the Hawkeyes are on the cusp of being in the rankings.

It's certainly worth noting that Texas moved up seven spots to No. 13 following its win over Vanderbilt. The Longhorns and Washington, who is ranked No. 24, are two wins against ranked teams that the Buckeyes have so far this season.
