Ohio State has a pair of Heisman Trophy hopefuls, and on Sunday, the Buckeyes launched campaigns for each.
Following yet another dominant performance by OSU in its win over Penn State on Saturday, a game in which both Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith put up big-time numbers, the Buckeyes launched Heisman Trophy campaigns for their star quarterback and star wide receiver.
For Sayin, the campaign will be #WeSayinHeisman.

The redshirt freshman has been superb so far this season and hasn't just been Ohio State's QB1, but college football's QB1. Sayin leads the FBS in many key statistical categories for quarterbacks, even though he is only eight starts into his career.
In eight games this season, Sayin has completed 176 of 218 passes (80.7%) for 2,188 yards, 23 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Smith, meanwhile, was deemed by many as the best player in college football before the season kicked off and has proven time and time again that those statements were (and continue to be) correct. Even when the sophomore doesn't have the ball in his hands, he's doing things that make it easier for his teammates, the definition of a true teammate and superstar.
So far this season, Smith has 55 catches for 725 yards and nine touchdowns. He also has 20 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
For Smith's Hesman campaign, it will be #JJ4Heisman.

Sayin and Smith will look to continue their respective Heisman campaigns next weekend when Ohio State travels to West Lafayette. The matchup between the Buckeyes and Purdue is set to kick off at 1 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
