Once competitors on the football field, Ryan Day and Nick Saban became competitors on the golf course on Thursday.
At the 50th annual Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, Day and Saban were paired together for the Golden Bear Pro-Am. They joined PGA Tour professionals Justin Thomas and Corey Conners for nine holes.
Before the foursome teed off at 7:34 a.m., Day and Saban took pictures with Ohio State's College Football Playoff national championship trophy. According to 10TV's Adam King, the Ohio State head coach and former Alabama head coach shared a brief exchange before the photo opportunity.
"We're paired together out there," Day said.
"Oh, that's good. We have a lot to talk about," Saban responded.
"Yes, we do," Day laughed.
