Five players from last year's Ohio State roster have agreed to free-agent contracts after going unselected in the 2020 NFL draft.

Tight end Rashod Berry is signing with the New England Patriots, a source told Eleven Warriors.

Offensive lineman Branden Bowen told Eleven Warriors that he is signing with the Carolina Panthers.

Wide receivers Austin Mack and Binjimen Victor are both signing with the New York Giants, as first reported by Lettermen Row's Jeremy Birmingham.

Long snapper Liam McCullough is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, as first reported by Joey Kaufman of the Columbus Dispatch.

Former Ohio State defensive tackle Robert Landers is also expected to sign with an NFL team as an undrafted free agent, but his destination is not yet known.

Berry, who began his Ohio State career as a defensive end before moving to the offensive side of the ball, caught only 17 passes as a Buckeye but has NFL-caliber measurables at 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds. He has the upside to be a playmaker at the next level if he can continue to develop his skill set, and goes to a team in the Patriots that entered the draft with a major need at tight end, though they also used third-round picks to select UCLA's Devin Asiasi and Virginia Tech's Dalton Keene.

Bowen, who started six games at right guard in 2017 and 13 games at right tackle in 2019, might have gone undrafted due to concerns about the broken leg that caused him to miss the end of the 2017 season and the entire 2018 season, but his versatility to play both tackle and guard should improve his chances of making the Panthers' roster as a backup offensive lineman.

Victor, who caught 83 passes with 18 touchdowns at Ohio State, and Mack, who caught 79 passes with six touchdowns at Ohio State, could now be competing with each other – and other receivers – for a roster spot with the Giants after going undrafted. The Giants did not select any wide receivers in this year's draft, so each of them should have a chance to earn their way onto the roster as a backup wide receiver if they can demonstrate value on special teams.

McCullough, who was Ohio State's starting long snapper for each of the past four seasons, will be thrust into a competition with Trent Sieg, the Raiders' incumbent long snapper, to earn a spot on their regular-season roster.

The undrafted free agents join 10 Buckeyes who were selected in the 2020 NFL draft: Chase Young, Jeff Okudah, Damon Arnette, J.K. Dobbins, DaVon Hamilton, Jonah Jackson, Malik Harrison, Jordan FullerK.J. Hill and Jashon Cornell.

That list does not include former Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow, the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, who finished his collegiate career at LSU. Former Ohio State running back Antonio Williams, who transferred to North Carolina in 2018, signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. Former Ohio State linebacker Keandre Jones, who transferred to Maryland in 2019, signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.
