Despite rumors that have begun to swirl, Urban Meyer plans to remain Ohio State's head coach next season.
"I plan on coaching," Meyer said when he was asked if he would return next season.
When asked if he could say for sure he would return as Ohio State's head coach next season, Meyer offered a simple, definitive response: "Yes."
The speculation has been due in part to Meyer's demeanor on the sideline during games, but Meyer downplayed that.
"I want Ohio State to be successful in the worst way," Meyer explained. "I don't want people to worry about me."
When asked if there's any truth to the observation that the games have been getting to him, Meyer joked, "the games have been getting to me for 30 years."
