Just saw on Twitter/X, as announced by the official Ohio State Club Football page, that Safety Jackson Gula has been called up to the Buckeyes varsity roster.

Gula is a 6’1”, 180 lbs. Safety from Streetsboro, Ohio and attended Streetsboro High School, the same high school Michael Hall Jr. went to. It appears Gula will be a sophomore for the upcoming season 

Gula had 29 Tackles, 8 PBUs, and 3 Interceptions for the club team in 2025. He received 2nd-Team National Club Football Association All-American honors for his play in 2025 as well.

Several Buckeyes have started their career playing for the club team before making their way to the Varsity roster. Ohio State currently has three former club team players on their roster: Offensive Lineman Ian Gesce, Linebacker Zach Hayes, and Cornerback Glorien Gough.

Super cool to see the club team producing Ohio State-caliber players. The Ohio State Club Football team has had incredible success recently as well, making it to each of the past six NCFA National Championship Games and winning four of them, including the last two.
