I don't really know where the Ohio State football team is headed going into the second half of the season, but I do know that honestly I'm not too worried about it.
Not in the sense that I think they'll suddenly figure out their myriad issues and become a serious national championship contender; some of these problems run deeper than a personnel change or a scheme shift. Could like six or seven switches get flipped by the end of the season? Of course, and it's happened before.
But for now I'm actually kind of enjoying Ohio State looking like an ersatz version of those crazy-ass Air Raid Texas Tech teams that Mike Leach helmed in the late 2000's. Until it bites the Buckeyes in the ass. Which it might!
