The entire concept of "starters," either on a football team or as a general hierarchical concept, is an antiquated notion built on amorphous concepts like "intangibles" and "talent" and "experience."

As we saw yesterday, these things are dumb BS that have no real application in the real world. One could say that Mike Weber and J.K. Dobbins are both "starters" and one could say that neither of them are. Who cares? They've both been extremely effective whenever they've been in the game. Dwayne Haskins is the nominal "starter" at the quarterback position, and has already thrown for a trillion yards and more touchdowns than should be legal, but then Tate Martell saunters in and has a literal perfect game and adds 95 yards on the ground because why the hell not?

So, you know... screw it! Everyone is a starter, and because of that no one is. The end result is that everyone kicks ass and Ohio State scores 50-plus points for a second week. Let's party.

Next week is a team with a pulse. Maybe a weak one, but it's there. Let's see if the optimism holds.
