Braxton Miller faced many questions in college when the former Heisman frontrunner switched positions the summer before his senior year at Ohio State. He eviscerated Virginia Tech in Blacksburg with a single pirouette, but he only managed to finish the year with 341 yards on 26 catches.

The lack of production didn't sway the Houston Texans from picking Milller with the 85th overall pick in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Though Miller has yet to play a live snap for the Texans, his dedication has already earned him the respect of Texans wide receivers coach Sean Ryan.

From The Houston Chronicle:

"Yeah, I think the thing with him is he works at it he wants to pick things up," Texans wide receivers coach Sean Ryan said. "He wants to be good. I think he's got a little chip on his shoulder understanding that there were some people out there that thought there would be this large learning curve for him and weren't sure about him being a receiver.

"I think that helps to fuel him and he's a competitive guy. He wants to learn and he's smart enough to learn and those are the two biggest factors to me."

The Texans plan to use Miller at several positions, including a role on special teams returning kicks. He could also play in a Wildcat formation the Texans were known to use last season.

That would seem like smart coaching giving Braxton's dynamite career in Columbus.
