Well, that escalated quickly.

Ohio State was stymied for much of the first half against Minnesota. Vonn Bell's pick-6 was the only Buckeye scoring on the day before the offense found got going late in the second quarter.

Cardale Jones has struggled in the red zone this season, and Ohio State alleviated that problem by giving Ezekiel Elliott the ball. The St. Louis product did what he's been known to do: He took the handoff to the endzone. Taylor Decker pulled off a nifty pulling block, and Mike Thomas is moving some bodies down the field as well.

The score put Ohio State up 13-0 before the ensuing PAT made it 14-0, the score which stands at halftime.
