Ohio State certainly benefited from a number of refereeing mistakes — Vonn Bell's "interception" among them — but Penn State looks like they got away with one here.
In the fourth quarter of last night's instaclassic, double overtime victory over Penn State, Penn State's sophomore linebacker, No. 26 Brandon Bell, appears to eye gouge Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett.
Football is an inherently violent game, but I don't think that's legal. Penn State fans, however, might want to hold off on calling Ohio State's players dirty.
