The culture and #TheBrotherhood won out in the end.

No matter who Ryan Day picks to be Ohio State's next wide receivers coach, he will enter a room with the best wide receiver in college football and, arguably, the No. 1 wideout in the 2026 class at his disposal, along with plenty of other talent.

Even with Brian Hartline heading to Tampa Bay to take over at USF, Chris Henry Jr. went on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday morning to reaffirm his commitment to Ohio State and announce that he will sign with the Buckeyes.

Hartline told Henry he “made the right choice” in a phone call after his decision, which Henry’s family posted to social media along with Henry’s call to Ryan Day informing him he’d sign with Ohio State. On the other hand, social media takes from Oregon fans aged poorly as Henry stuck with the Buckeyes rather than flipping to the Ducks as many expected.

We’ve compiled some of the best and worst takes from social media following Henry’s announcement.
