Ohio State dropped three spots in the latest AP poll.

After staying at No. 13 for the past two weeks, the Buckeyes came in at No. 16 in the country on Monday. The Buckeyes split a pair of games against Big Ten opponents last week, dropping to Indiana on the road in a 16-point blowout on Thursday before getting back on track Sunday with a 95-87 win over Northwestern.

Ohio State moved to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in Big Ten play with the win.

“We definitely needed this one to get our hopes up a little bit,” said Buckeye forward E.J. Liddell, who had a career-high 34 points on Sunday.

Ohio State has another pair of conference matchups on tap this week, starting with a road game against Wisconsin Thursday before returning home Sunday to host Penn State at noon in Columbus.
