Cincinnati – Ohio State will take on Cincinnati with two first-time starters Wednesday night.

Freshman guard Luther Muhammad and sophomore guard Kyle Young will make their first career starts for the Buckeyes against the Bearcats. Muhammad was Ohio State's top-rated recruit in the 2018 recruiting class. He was the No. 79 overall prospect in his class. Young played 25 games last season, but did not have a start and averaged 8.5 minutes per game.

Both Muhammad and Young started in Ohio State's exhibition on Thursday. Muhammad had nine points and a team-high three assists in 17 minutes. Young had nine points and three rebounds in 15 minutes.

Kaleb Wesson, C.J. Jackson and Andre Wesson joined Young and Muhammad in the starting lineup. Kaleb Wesson and Jackson started nearly every game they played last season, and Andre Wesson had five starts.
