Don't look now, but Ohio State basketball is back.

The Buckeyes, 13–4 and atop the Big Ten standings after shutting down No. 1 Michigan State 80-64 Sunday, are on a roll and generating a palpable buzz around the program for the first time in years.

Against the Spartans, the Schott was rocking from the start and grew louder as Ohio State answered an early 11-4 Michigan State lead with a run of their own, jumping out 15-11 eight minutes into the game.

With the teams tied at 29 with a little under two minutes to play, the Buckeyes scored the last 12 points of the second half, capped by this Andrew Dakich bomb at the buzzer.

The second half was more of the same as stretched the lead to 20 four minutes in. Things were going so well, C.J. Jackson was snapping ankles.

The Spartans made a run – you knew they would – but it wasn't enough as Ohio State closed out the No. 1 team in America in style. Keita Bates-Diop, the frontrunner for Big Ten Player of the Year, finished with a career-high 32 points fo the Buckeyes.

That was fun. Take us home, Evan Turner...
