The first home matchup of the Big Ten schedule in 2018 started off with a bang for the Ohio State Buckeyes in their 80-64 win over the No. 1 Michigan State Spartans.
Keita Bates-Diop led the way for the Buckeyes with a career high in scoring with 32 to go alongside seven rebounds. C.J. Jackson chipped in 14 points, six rebounds and three assists with a highlight reel shake of a Spartan defender before finishing. Jae'Sean Tate and Kam Williams punctuated the four Ohio State starters that scored in double figures with 13 and 10 respectively.
